Is Abyss therapy?

No. Abyss is a reflection environment, not a medical service. If you need clinical support, please reach out to a qualified mental health professional.

Do I need an account?

For the waitlist, just an email. When Abyss launches you'll create a lightweight account to keep your private archives in sync — no public profile, no follower counts, ever.

What data do you store?

As little as possible. On this site, only your waitlist email (and optional role and country). Inside the app, anything you release is processed in the moment; only what you choose to archive is stored, encrypted, and visible to you alone.

How do the response styles work?

Each thought can move through layers you control: Silent Abyss senses your presence, Echoes reflects the feeling, Ways of Seeing offers another interpretation, and Resonance can reveal when a feeling may be shared. You decide how far a response goes.

How is this different from ChatGPT or journaling apps?

Notes store a thought and an assistant answers it. Abyss is built to help you process rather than produce — no output pressure, no metrics, and your reflections stay private by default.

Is anonymous resonance safe?

Resonance is opt-in and only ever indicates that a feeling may be shared — never who, and never your words. It ships with safety systems and moderation.

When will it launch?

We're in private testing now. Join the waitlist for priority access to the first release.

How often will you email me?

Rarely — one or two thoughtful emails a month at most. You can unsubscribe anytime.
